The Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award is the most widely respected award for upcoming poets and is renowned for uncovering talent. Over 14,000 young people apply each year, proving poetry to be increasingly popular as amongst young people – previous winners are performers at the Big Chill and Latitude. The closing date of 31st July for entries looms,  so get on it lovelies!

The Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award is open to poets 11 -17 years of age, and has consistently uncovered scrumptious talent in its 13 years in existence… Let’s get a Balladeer exposed this year!

Good Luck! x
