KEVIN MOROSKY
THE ORANGE DOT GALLERY
Curated by P.C. Williams
EXHIBITION RUNS FROM 9 – 30 JUNE
Is the six degrees of separation theory the key to making this world a better place?
“Yes, maybe, I’d like to think so,” says Kevin Morosky. “The idea that we are so closely connected is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. I love the idea that we are all equal, we just have different lives.” Once we remind ourselves of this, how can the world not be perceived and feel like it’s a better place?
“I myself do float between different circles,” continues Morosky, “but I have never looked at these circles as dynamics that separate us, more as clogs that turn the circle closest to it. These relationships and their differences can give birth to motivation and spark a personal journey to a new existence. We all need each other in one way or another.”
Morosky is a point and shoot photographer working on 35-mm, in the realm of documentary and reportage. He has most recently been working with a range of artists, from musicians such as Jack Penate, Ghostpoet, Marques Toliver and Jessie Wares, to sculptor Andrew Logan, playwright Polly Sternham, and actresses Mischa Barton,Billie Piper and Ashley Madekwe.

The Scoop…
We have to admit we all love free activities, gifts, etc, and the bonus of it being good, well you can’t complain.
I find myself loving the Scoop, it never stops to entertain everyone and as its outdoors and the weather seems to be letting the sun stay, might as well try and get a tan out of it. (Even though my pale skin does not really seem to agree with this)
The Scoop has a range of performances and activities starting, you can find:
From May 25th for a few days only, The Tragedy of Macbeth.
Chickenshed with its performance of ‘Crime of the Century’ on June the 22nd for 2 days only
Free film screenings from September 14th- 30th.
There are various great events between these dates but I have left these as a mystery and for you to go and explore, or you can also find out on the Scoop’s website – morelondon.co.uk/scoop

London Accessory Sale
Us Balladettes cannot stay away from a bargain, yes some may say this is a problem, but we treasure it as our gift.
Tomorrow is the last day of the London Accessory Sale which can be found at The Old Truman Brewery between 11am and 6pm.
Designers labels such as Chloe, Marc Jacobs, Jimmy Choo are selling their beautiful accessories with discount, some reaching 70% off, yes I will repeat that 70% off. I know most of us are still suffering from the cash spent during the bank holidays but pay day is soon here so why not just go for it, just eat beans for the rest of the week, worth it do we agree
You’ll find me in the bag section

Shoreditch market open until 3am…
Shoreditch has a new addition to its nightlife and its no starving matter!
This is no ordinary market, you will be able to find the great food stalls yes, but did you plan on resting on deck chairs with sand beneath your feet, palm tree by your side and the close cheers of a group of petanque players.
You can soon find every Saturday from 7pm until 3 am and on Sunday from noon to midnight a range of stalls to give your taste buds a run for their money. So after a night out if you find yourself in the Shoreditch area and need to satisfy your hunger why not head down and grab some delights such as Vietnamese, mushroom risotto, Ghanaian stews, sausages and much more.
To be honest I could do with some now, unfortunately the market launches on the 4th June (not close enough
).
