Mill Co. Oh oh oh, we love MILLLL CO.!! Thursday we attended their second annual exhibition, (the first was oneof our fave events to date) and we are more than thrilled to report that it was WONDERFUL. This year was in association with the Monotype…The brief this year is typographical and Mill Co. artists were given three Monotype fonts, Akko, Neue Haas Grotesk and Rotis II, to do with them what they please, re-draw, illustrate , deconstruct, anything.

We got a whole new “ones to watch” list, and in true Mill Co. style there was a real eclectic mix of artists and work on show. Not to mention this years cocktails beat last years, NO QUESTION. Here at ballad, we don’t get on too well with The Green Fairy, so the lovely bar man created a strait Gin Ballad Of… cocktail just for us. This is why our post is 2 days late…!

The show opens to the public on Saturday Oct 15th will run until Dec 2^nd at The Mill Co. Project gallery.
