From Amelia’s book launch a delightful fashion illustrator called Antonia drew Yas and Claire!! Here is the result!!! AMAZING.
Danny Miller pointed us in the direction of this 3-piece outfit Les Mistons - I swatched around a couple of muso buds and the general consensus seemed to be ‘when are they playing?’
Les Mistons aka ‘Mischief Makers’ (en francais, oui?), play very loud, quite mysterious reverb-ed (word?) guitars, with gritty rhythm guitars across the top, and a mellow and cooly wondering vocalist guides you along each song, - this will appeal to the Ebsen and the Witch fans, as it’s the sort of music you could listen to in the dark and you can tell they’re going to play it VERY VERY LOUD. And are nonchalant enough to not bother bringing along skulls and whatnot.

Weldone!
If you are in your twenties and the job hunting has hit you this might be of interest. Well to be honest, check it out, pretty good and you’ll love it. Be quick to watch it!
‘Julie, eager to make a start in the job market. But she finds herself taking a succession of soul-destroying jobs (the film is especially brittle in its look at the ostensibly hip and ‘human’ PR world) and tangling with a series of wildly unsuitable men. Taking part in a role-playing charade for a job interview, she meets a freewheeling young actor (Pio Marmaï), who shows her another way to live life, outside the nine-to-five rut. The couple hit it off and head for an idyllic existence away from the system, only for reality to catch them unaware…’

‘ My good friend decided she would surprise me with a kitten for christmas and it’s been a whirl wind since! Her name is Namia, she’s all black with green eyes, all I can say is, what a rascal!
She’s curious about everything, especially technology, she loves watching the mouse on the computer and chases it whenever she can, I just thought I would like to give an ode to this special kitten who has become a love in my life.’
Such a pretty kitty…and what an AMAZING Christmas present!!!
We are pretty frikkin excited today. We’ve just booked our holiday with the girls for the summer, it’s off to Santa Ponsa we go. Sun, sea and sangria here we come, but we’ve got loads of pre holiday prep to do before then.
Step 1: Find the perfect holiday look
Do we want to go Grable, Hepburn, Monroe, Halliwell/Beckham, Fawcett… it’s just too confusing!!
It would be lovely to do Mallorca with the vintage glamour of Mazza, but not too sure how manageable that hair will be… haha
Very much enjoying the Goldie Hawn in Overboard look. Not only is Hawn on C’s top actors of all time list for her “Aughhhh, ahhhhuuughhh, help me” acting skills, but the 80s route would be a very fun and interesting one to adopt! This one is very Dame Edna, but WE LIKE!!!
This one is clearly the favourite at the moment, but maybe we need a change..?
Classic, 50s, 60s and massive. The most flattering we think, and they can hide a multitude of sins from too much sun, to too much Spice Girls dancing!!
A lovely classic Grace Kelly? Am App have a beautiful cozzy in at the moment that would complete this look perfectly. We only have six months to decide!!
We are stocked up, don’t get us wrong…but what is it about sunnies that means you need a new pair for each holiday, each festival and each winter driving season? We’ve been buying a lot of our sunglasses online recently…it’s a lot easier to stick to the settled - on look and you don’t get distracted by another of the same pair in a different colour…
We are sure one out of this batch will do… but it wouldn’t be holiday prep if we were already prepared!! We aren’t boy scouts!!

We love these beauties of Olivia by Jak Spedding. All dewy and fresh, we want spring to hurry up and get here so being outdoors is fun again!!

She doesn’t often come so this is one rare appearance you might not want to miss!
On the 2nd February at Koko, Vanessa Paradis will be taking the stage from 7pm.
Maybe Johnny will make an appearance? Or is that asking too much?
