You know at Ballad Of…how we love to celebrate northern talent? well heres another one for you. Sam Parr is exactly that, from sheffield and super talented. She’s having an art show in Sheffield tommorow (yes, the same day as our party hehe) so if you’re in Sheffield head over! Email her for more details, but for now enjoy her work.

The lovely and talented illustrator Emma Block has sent us some adorable postcards for the Ballad Of Launch Party goody pags!
In her last year of studying Illustration at Middlesex Uni, she’s worked for numerous big clients, and says her favourite things are charity shops, tea and very sharp pencils.
You’re a girl after our own hearts Emma! Thanks for the lush goodies <3

We cannot tear ourselves away from one of the best places for art and design on the web. From The Wilde is an eclectic collection of contemporary designer makers, artists and illustrators, and today we are showing you three, YES THREE, artists who are involved with this awesome project. We would also like to thank Helen from From The Wilde for being so supportive and kind enough to donate a piece of art from one of her artists for the up and coming Ballad Of Lola-Bacon Party as a giveaway! We very much appreciate it.
Amanda Mocci
Amanda has recently joined From The Wilde and has some awesome prints for sale on the website from £15. We adore the black and white and the soft and sparkly feel to them! Yum!

Jimbob
Jimbob’s work is perfect for the release of our last issue, we just love the animals! Especially animals that love CAKE. everyone loves cake right? We just adore them…and want every piece of his crockery designs (to eat our cake off of course)

Victoria Whincup
Victoria is a lady of many talents, illustrations, sculptures and jewellery design, with a very different and quirky style. Just the cutest and most dainty designs we have ever seen, we are huge fans.
