“The soul inside her began to scream as the life inside her began to fade. She was in love but in love all on her own; left with only a catacomb heart guarding a dying love. She went about a zombie life waiting for his second coming. Daily her ghost would call, declare his love but never did he return. Instead his dark heart waited in all the far away shadows, never in the room where she slept. He was her favourite ghost but she needed to be alive.”

We can’t wait until the next post from Blau x

Do Something pt1

Ah, Rosenthalerplatz, the crime scene of guerrilla artists/bicyclists, who, just the other week, dumped gallons of paint on the road for the unsuspecting bicyclist or automobile to drive through.
This created- well- exactly what you see above.

Ellis Gallagher, working-class citizen by day, shadow chalk-art hero by night.

As they say, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. This statement specifically applies to Brandon Jan Blommaert’s trash creations. He saves up trash, puts it together into an amazing sculpture, and then photoshops awesome backgrounds. What more could you ask for?

Last but not least, I present to you Green Graffiti, by artist Edina Tokodi. It’s guerrilla art at its best, with a green twist!

For more inspiration and some light reading, I suggest picking up
The Guerilla Art Kit (by Keri Smith)
If anything, you’ll only end up impressing all your cool-cat friends (you know, when you leave it out “inconspicuously” on your coffee table, to which you’ll reply, “Oh, that old thing? Had it for years”)

Cheers, toots.
