LONDON (home times)….
Well we were quite excited for this one, as friends and family were coming to watch Nadine and we knew it would be fun.
After turning around in circles to find the entrance to Bloomsbury Ballroom we entered and admired the venue, high ceilings and a good stage, we don’t ask for much. Quickly running out to go for a quick drink with some friends and to meet my mummy and daddy, we came back and got a quick line check sorted.
The doors opened and people came streaming in, the Shakespeare’s Sister fans are always so lovely and up for a laugh. I nip out to go and get the parents into the changing rooms so they can meet some of the crew, bless them they havent been to a gig for years and years, you can tell they are excited and are pleased to be out of the house on a school night, cheeky!
Everyone goes and sets themselves up in front of the stage while I bring Nadine to the stage door, a quick time check and she goes up.
I go find my parents in the crowd and watch the set, the audience is big and all are enjoying the set list of the chosen songs of the night. After Nadine announces I am selling CDs, which she likes to pin point out my massive ring (yes I am still in love with it) I get a few people already queuing up to come and buy some.
After a sing-a-long and dance to Shakespeare’s Sister and a little after show party we head to The Borderline, a new little venue off Tottenham Court Rd, its still a bit quiet so we take full advantage of the dance floor. Can you tell yet, we love to dance! Back home for sleeps… day off tomorrow as well.
